Kuwait Petroleum

Forecourt Phase 2 underway; the migration of five major operating units to the new platform ::

Kuwait Petroleum ( In February 2008, Alchemy, delivered a new, global Portal (in SharePoint 2007) for Kuwait Petroleum International, one of the largest oil companies in Europe. With this second phase, we are migrating the five english-speaking Operating Units of Q8 to the new platform, including Q8 Aviation, Q8 Oils and the International Diesel Service. This will turn what was a Corporate Intranet into a true Company-wide resource.

East Coast Rail

Alchemy build new extranet for the UK's premier rail franchise, the East Coast Mainline ::

London Underground HQ, at 55 Broadway Alchemy are building an innovative and cutting-edge extranet in SharePoint 2007 for East Coast, to be accessed by staff in the office, the field and at home. East Coast is the UK’s premier Rail Franchise, operating services from Kings Cross to the very north of Scotland. In public hands (at the Department for Transport) since November 2009 (following the failure of the National Express franchise), it employs 2,800 people.

London Underground

Alchemy lead the relaunch of Intranet & Collaboration Services in London Underground ::

London Underground HQ, at 55 Broadway Alchemy are to lead the creation of a new Intranet (in RedDot CMS) and a new Document Management solution (in SharePoint 2007) for London Underground. The tube (as it is affectioinately known by Londoners) is the oldest – and second largest – metro system in the world; with 270 stations and over 400km of track. It carries over 28 million passengers a year and employs over 22,000 people.

Tata Tetley Intranet

Alchemy to create new intranet for Tata / Tetley

Intranet for Tata Beverage Group (incuding Tetley tea in the UK) Alchemy are building an innovative new intranet for the Beverage Division of Global 500 Indian Conglomerate, Tata Group. This global FMCG company includes Tetley tea in the UK, Good Earth Tea and Eight O'Clock Coffee in the US and Himalayan Water in India. The intranet is built in SharePoint 2007.

Petro Canada

Alchemy assist Petro Canada with their Portal Strategy ::

Petro Canada Intranet Strategy Alchemy have been advising Petro Canada on the Portal Strategy for their International Businesses - and how this integrates with the broader company intranet (based on Oracle 8i). The work includes strategic alignment, requirement prioritisation, gap analysis and enterprise architecture components.

UNITE plc

Alchemy help UNITE with their portal business case ::

Student Accommodation from UNITE plc, latest intranet client of Alchemy Alchemy have been advising UNITE plc on the business case for their Portal Programme. Unite, who build, manage and rent student residential accommodation in the UK, are a fast-growing FTSE-250 company and are keen to build an Intranet Portal which will underpin that growth and properly support their valued workforce.

Atkins plc

Alchemy to deliver Atkins Global Portal in SharePoint 2007 ::

The Burj-Al-Arab, symbolising the Atkins Intranet implementation Alchemy are project managing the delivery of the Atkins Global Portal rollout. This is one of the earliest, biggest and most complex SharePoint 2007 implementations, serving as it does 15,000 employees across three continents and multiple business disciplines and languages. The first release to reach end-users is anticipated to take place in autumn 2007.
